Interblock selects Quixant to power Organic product range.
Quixant, designer and manufacturer of the world’s most sophisticated computer platforms for slot machines, has been selected by Interblock to provide its QX-10 gaming PC for their latest generation of multi player games.
Launched to the world market at ICE 2007 with tremendous success, the new Organic range of multi player games from Interblock are powered exclusively by the Quixant QX-10 advanced gaming platform.
The design team at Quixant have over 10 years experience in designing computer systems for gaming machines and the QX-10 benefits from this unrivaled design experience. Quixant designs all of its products 100% in-house from the ground up.
Selected because of its unique features, the QX-10 proved to be the first choice of platform for Interblock to base its new generation of products on. High graphics performance (powered by AMD/ATI), long life time, strong security, passive cooling and high reliability proved to be the key factors for the design team at Interblock when selecting the Quixant product.
'We have carefully considered several options and concluded that features of the new QX-10 platform perfectly match with the requirements of our new G4 Organic product line' added Tomaz Zvipelj, CEO of Elektroncek Group.
'We are extremely proud to be associated with Interblocks exciting new Organic product. The selection of the QX-10 to power Organic confirms Quixant as a major supplier of advanced platforms to the gaming industry.' Nick Jarmany, MD of Quixant.
Press Release
Industrias Lorenzo will gradually replace the older style of "push-pull" lamp holder and micro switch assembly, which has proved so popular over the last 20 years.
This change will also gradually apply to the more recent "QTS" ( quick turn system ) and "ECS" ( easy clip system ) designs.
The new designs called SM4-22 and SM4-26 will offer added benefits to both OEMs and field personnel over the older designs.
These two (2) new designs apply to the lower portion of the IPB with two mounting sizes ( the SM4-22 requires a square 22mm mounting hole and the SM4-26 requires a square 26mm mounting hole), both models use the standard sub miniature micro switch ). The SM4-22 & SM4-26 use "press fit latch" and / or a "standard nut and washer" to secure the IPB, this feature is standard on these models as is the new four (4) point switch and lamp holder locking system, the new locking system allows four (4) possible switch positions, this provides greater flexibility in the routing the button harness in space restricted door designs.
A new harness to button connector has also been designed which in a single action provides all electrical connections to the micro switch and LED, this connector eliminates the possibility of wrong harness connections occurring during manufacturing gaming machines or converting button panels in the field
The bezel portion of the existing Industrias Lorenzo IPB range (ie. visible part of the IPB which is seen on a gaming machine) will remain as is, as well Industrias Lorenzo will offer an extended model range including personalised / customised designs.
A complete range of affordable IPB LEDs in single and triple LED configuration and in various LED voltages are now available to suit the new SM4 designs.
